Nurses referral scheme terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to Locum Referral Schemes run by Holt Nursing. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions Holt Nursing shall each be referred to as “us”, “we”, “our”, “the company” as the context so provides.

Refer a Friend Scheme – summary

the Recommender – A nurse who refers a fellow nurse to us for work.

the Recommended Nurse – A nurse who is recommended to us by the Recommender through this scheme.

Recommendation Scheme

Nurses who recommend a colleague who goes on to work 50 hours within 12 months of registration with us are eligible for a reward to the value listed in the table below, paid in either:

  • Lifestyle Vouchers

  • Amazon vouchers

  • Nurses also have the option of donating their reward to a charity of their choice

Eligibility criteria - How to make a referral

1. You must register via the Company registration form www.holtnursing.co.uk/refer or have been referred via the ‘Refer a friend’ form www.holtnursing.co.uk/refer to be eligible.

2. We are unable to accept registrations or referrals which are not submitted through the forms noted in point 1.

1. This form is automatically date stamped with the date of submission.

2. It is the responsibility of the Recommender to:

(a) obtain the Recommended nurses’ consent before providing the Recommended Nurse’s contact details to the Recommendation Scheme; and,

(b) advise the Recommended nurse of where to find our privacy policy (found here).

3. The Recommender must provide clear details of the Recommended Nurse at the point of referral. HNL must be able to identify the Recommended Nurse from the details the Recommender provides.

The Recommended Nurse must provide clear details of the Recommender at the point of registration. Holt Nursing must be able to identify the Recommender from the details the Recommended Nurse provides.

4. There is no limit to the number of nurses that can be recommended and thus no limit to the number of rewards which may be payable to a Recommender.

5. The Recommender must themselves be registered with us to be eligible under the Recommendation Scheme.

6. Nurses can only be recommended once, irrespective of whether they go on to fulfil the Recommendation Scheme condition for a reward.

7. Nurses already registered, referred through another source, or already working through us, cannot be recommended and will not qualify under the scheme.

8. If the same referral is made by two separate Recommenders and a reward becomes due under the terms of the scheme, payment will only be made to the Recommender who was first to submit the Recommended Nurse as per the date stamp of the submission.

9. The Recommended Nurse must be eligible to work in the UK.

Rewards

10. In the case where the Recommender wishes to receive either a Lifestyle e-vouchers or Amazon voucher the voucher will be distributed by email to the Recommender before the end of the following month after which the Recommended Nurse first invoices 50 hours of work. If the Recommender wishes to donate the reward to a charity, we will donate the reward to a charity of their choice. If the Recommender wishes to put their reward towards their CPD Top-up, this will be added to their current CPD pot under the Holt Nurses CPD scheme.

11. Depending on which voucher you choose; the voucher will come directly from RLDL (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or Amazon (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..) and it is the responsibility of the Recommender to ensure they are able to receive the voucher (spam filters etc).

12. Depending on which voucher the Recommender chooses, they will need to register their voucher on either the Lifestyle website or the Amazon website. With the Lifestyle voucher, the Recommender can select their preferred retailer/s. Vouchers can be used in-store or online and codes are supplied by Motivates Inc. Ltd. When the Recommender redeems an Amazon.co.uk voucher to their account, the funds are stored in their Account and will automatically be applied to their next eligible order.

13. If the Recommender chooses to put their reward towards their CPD Top-up, the Recommender needs to contact their recruitment consultant, who will action their request. The CPD scheme criteria will then be followed. See CPD Terms and Conditions.

14. We reserve the right to offer an alternative reward of the same value at any time.

How and when to claim a reward

15. To receive the Recommendation Scheme reward, the Recommended Nurse simply needs to invoice 50 hours' work within 12 months of registering with us. If this requirement is met, the Recommender will qualify for the reward.

16. We will aim to notify the Recommender of their eligibility to claim a reward by email, no later than the last Friday of each month. Due to volume, we are unable to provide regular status updates of hours worked.

17. The Recommender must claim the reward within 6 months of being notified of their eligibility. Once claimed, the reward can be enjoyed with no further restrictions.

General

18. The Recommender will be expected to account for any tax and NI where applicable through their self-assessment tax returns.

19. Holt Nursing will provide the Recommended Nurse with the name of the Recommender if requested by the Recommended Nurse.

20. Holt Nursing reserves the right to end this Scheme at any time and will post notice to this effect on the company website one calendar month prior to the closure of the Scheme. Recommenders will be advised of any cessation of the Scheme if their Recommended Nurse is yet to fulfil the Recommendation Scheme conditions for reward one month prior to the closure of the Scheme.

21. We do not accept responsibility or liability for vouchers not successfully received due to technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

22. We accept no liability for lost or stolen vouchers, once the voucher is received by the Recommender.
